I love this drink. The oaky flavor of the bourbon pairs so well with apple cider (I’m not talking about the already hard stuff, but the kid-friendly kind). Even better, I just received confirmation that my absolute favorite bourbon, Bulleit, is, in fact, gluten-free (click here to see the email). One sip, and you’ll likely agree that it tastes just like fall. Happy Friday!
Bourbon and Apple Cider
Preparation Time: 1 minute
Makes: 1 drink
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Bulleit bourbon (or other gluten-free bourbon)
- 4 – 6 ounces apple cider or Trader Joe’s 100% Freshly Pressed Apple Juice (I typically use 5 ounces)
- A couple dashes Angostura bitters (optional)
- Ice
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a double old fashioned glass and stir until cold
– OR –
Combine ingredients in an 8 ounce mason jar, cover and shake well.
