Winter Summer is coming, and so gin and tonic season will soon be upon us! I’m guessing some of you could use a taste of warmer months — given the winter that just. won’t. end. — sipping on a batch of these will surely do the trick. And if gin isn’t your jam, perhaps The Blue Hawaii is the way to go?

The Gin and Tonic

Preparation Time: 2 minutes

Makes: 2 cocktails


Dry Ingredients:

  • 34 – 1 ounce (21 – 28 grams) lime juice
  • 1 12 – 2 ounces (42 – 57 grams) Tanqueray gin or other gluten-free gin
  • 1 12-ounce can tonic water
  • Ice


Combine gin, lime juice and a few cubes of ice in a cocktail shaker or Mason jar with lid; cover and shake until well chilled. Strain into two glasses, add a few cubes of ice and top with tonic water; stir gently and serve immediately.
